Research SubjectAnomalous diffusion process is rather ubiquitous in complex systems. Examples include colloid diffusion in viscoelastic medium, motion of genetic loci on chromosome, which can be observed by current single molecule observation techniques. Here the notion of “negative” long range correlation is important, which builds up in systems made of many connected elements. In the present study, we focus on the anomalous diffusion phenomena in systems out-of-equilibrium. This would be particularly interesting for the motion of genetic loci, which is driven by athermal noise in living cells. |
